Let me cut to the chase: I've worked in the video games and tech industries for multiple years, and before embarking on my freelance journey, I, too, have taken the agency route. I've seen it all: the good, the bad and the ugly. The distracted recruiters and frustrated clients; the ignored and jaded candidates; the "fiddlier" roles which remain on the shelf as overworked recruiters are forced to divert their attention and resources elsewhere in order to reach an arbitrary target.
